When looking at other websites for free stock photography pictures make sure to look at the licensing restrictions. Morguefile is a completely free source for stock photos. Check the FAQ for terms of usage. The term “morgue file” is used by illustrators and others for a stockpile of images used for reference material.
Stockvault is a modern site with thousands of images and some Photoshop & Dreamweaver tutorials. Membership is free and unlocks some additional features, such as a lightbox.
Start up stock photos has plenty of great stock images to use if you are building a website for your new start up business. They also have an RSS feed you put RSS reader to keep an update of the latest images they have on their website.
The photos on Imagebase are free to use and are licensed under a Creative Commons license. Images are available in two high resolution (1600 x 1200 or 3072×2048) formats.Here are the copyright restrictions you have to keep to for Imagebase.
Freerange requires you to register before you can download on the site. At the current time of writing the post, there are no categories for browsing images but there is a search function on the website. All images are at least 2400 x 1600, and photos can be used for commercial or personal projects.
Texturezoom offer free stock textures, backgrounds and design textures. All there images are up 16+MB and are free to commercial and personal use. They have a search function to find the textures you are looking for and they all so have an RSS feed for random textures.
